Built in 1958, Tarkington Hall is an all-male residence known for its strong sense of community and lasting alumni connections. The hall features standard rooms with shared bathrooms. While student rooms are not air-conditioned, all common areas are centrally cooled, and residents often use creative fan setups to stay comfortable. Named after Newton Booth Tarkington—a former Purdue student and generous supporter—the hall reflects his legacy of leadership and camaraderie, making it a meaningful place to live and grow. Tarkington also hosts dining option, Pete’s Za.
