UR Move-In

We are excited to welcome you to campus! We have prepared the following resources to help you through the process of accessing campus, navigating through your check-in location and where to park once your Boilermaker has unloaded their belongings. 

Please continue to check this page to get the most updated move-in information as it is made available.

The 2026 Spring Semester Purdue University Residences contract begins Monday, January 12, 2026. All new students and returning residents may move in beginnings Wednesday, January 7, 2026, any time after 8 a.m. at no additional charge.

With the exception of the below locations, all new students should go to their assigned residence hall's main office to pick up their room key and check-in materials.

The following apartment locations should go to the Hilltop main office for their keys:

• 125 Waldron
• 19 Waldron
• 333 Grant
• 410 Steely
• 414 Russell
• Benchmark
• Fuse
• Provenance
• Waldron Square

Once you have completed your move-in, please move your vehicle from the unloading area to one of the following locations: the McCutcheon Parking Garage, the Co-Rec Parking Lot or the University Street Parking Garage. This will help keep the move-in process running smoothly for others waiting to unload. Note: Avoid any spaces posted as reserved or handicap at all locations.

Scan the QR code located on the door to the entrance of the building or at the front desk to check in for the spring semester. 

OR visit the Housing Portal at the time of your arrival to check back in for the spring semester.
