University Residences Favorite Faculty Reception

Held on an annual basis and as a part of our Residential Academic Initiatives, each spring, the reception is an opportunity to nominate faculty members for a variety of awards through invited submissions. The honors include recognition for faculty excellence in academics, research and student engagement. Faculty Fellows, nominated faculty members, and students who submitted nominations are invited to attend.

Hear what some of our student nominators have to say about their favorite faculty members:

"... is a terrific lecturer, able to engage the students and help guide them through challenging topics. He has the amazing ability to gauge the students' understanding of the current topic, something which is likely not easy to do."

"She also helped me with a project that was completely unrelated to her class but still helped me find resources for it. She then checked in on my project after it was due. Overall, she is a very caring person whom all of her students appreciate just as she appreciates them."
