All room types are non-smoking and are furnished with beds, desks, dressers, and closets. All locations in University Residences are co-ed* with the exception of the following:

All Male: Cary Quadrangle, McCutcheon Hall and Tarkington Hall

All Female: Meredith Hall, Meredith South and Windsor Halls

*Genders are separated by wing, floor, suite or apartment entryway, depending on the residence.  

1. Double Room Our most common room type features rooms for two students and common areas in each hall, such as a shared bathroom on each floor, study spaces and activity rooms for collaboration and social interaction. 
2. Triple or Quad Room Rooms shared with 2-3 other residents and common areas in each hall, such as a shared bathroom on each floor, study spaces and activity rooms for collaboration and social interaction. 
3. Double, Triple or Quad Room without AC Rooms without AC shared with 1-3 other residents and all of the same features of air conditioned double, triple or quad rooms. These room types are our most affordable option. 
4. Single Room Room is not shared.
5. Suite Rooms arranged suite style with adjoining doubles and/or singles sharing one bathroom. 
6. Apartment Shared by 2-7 students, apartments have shared living spaces like a living room, efficiency or full kitchen and bathroom all within the same unit. Apartments also include our UR Boiler™ Apartments.
