Winter Break Housing

Room only-interim housing is available to students wishing to stay during the winter break for an additional charge, as contracted room and board charges do not cover this scheduled vacation period (with the exception of University Residences apartments).

Pre-registration is required for anyone staying over break.

Interim housing is not available to students who are graduating in December or not returning in the spring. An optional meal plan will be offered to students staying over winter break for an additional charge. This will include 13 meals per week and $25 Dining Dollars per week. Information on dining locations will be determined and shared in the near future.

Behavioral guidelines will be the same as during the academic semester.

Registration constitutes binding acceptance of the interim housing agreement. The student acknowledges they will be billed (when applicable) and the cost of the optional meal plan, if selected, for the entire winter break when the registration form is completed and terms and conditions are accepted. Billing will not be prorated for students who do not stay the entire winter break. Students will see this additional charge on their MyPurdue account in January.
