UR Movie Streaming

Students have exclusive access to a library of free on-demand movies and Purdue-specific programming.

  • Free On-Demand Movies: Available on the streaming website when connected to Pal 3.0 Wi-Fi, supported on Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.
  • Common area televisions remain available for student use. To use these screens for gaming or personal streaming, connect your laptop or mobile device via an HDMI cable. Please note that students must provide their own HDMI cables; they are not provided by the residence hall.

B1G+ On-Campus Access

The Big Ten Network offers a feature called B1G+ On-Campus Access. This allows students to stream more than 2,700 live, non-televised sporting events entirely for free, skipping the standard monthly or annual subscription fee.

  • How it works: When a student is physically on campus and connected to the university's official Wi-Fi network, the B1G+ system automatically recognizes the IP address. A pop-up will appear stating they have complimentary "On-Campus Access."
  • What you can watch: This grants unlimited live access to all the sports produced by campus crews (the StudentU program) alongside full, next-day, commercial-free replays of every major televised game.
