Hometown: Carmel, IN

Residence Hall Lived In: Meredith Hall and Windsor Hall

Campus Involvement: Timmy Global Health, Boiler Gold Rush, Chamber Music, Academic Success Center

Favorite Thing About Purdue:  Favorite thing about Purdue and why- I would say my favorite thing about Purdue is how friendly the community is. Purdue gave me several unique opportunities to step out of my comfort zone and grow personally. I also met friends from all over the world and appreciated how Purdue encourages diversity on campus.

Something I Wish I Had Known As a Freshman: Don't buy your books before going to class.

Piece of advice: My important piece of advice would be to embrace every challenge that comes during your time at Purdue and use it as an opportunity to learn more about yourself. I learned so much about building confidence and keeping a positive attitude throughout college. One way I dealt with such challenges was finding good friends that supported me through all my experiences. I would encourage you to also find important people in your life who can also support you, and give you a different perspective on life even if it takes time to find these people.
