Student Leader Reflects on Dining & Culinary Experiences
Bryan Hagan, a student manager at Earhart Dining Court, has been a Purdue Dining & Culinary employee for longer than he has attended classes at Purdue University. Hagan has been a fixture in Earhart over the last four years, holding nearly every student position available in the dining court, including associate, storekeeper, cook, supervisor and his current student manager title. For his reliability, quality of work, demonstration of teamwork and contributions to Dining & Culinary, Hagan has been named the recipient of the Sarah Johnson Outstanding Student Employee of the Year award.

Outstanding Students Recognized at Honors Banquet
University Residences and Dining & Culinary annually present awards that celebrate accomplishments and dedication to leadership and service beyond the classroom. These awards recognize individuals who demonstrate a commitment to the Purdue community through their involvement in student organizations, student employment, community service and learning. Honorees were recognized at the Student Life Honors banquet, held April 14 in Purdue Memorial Union.

Richardson Finds Leadership Opportunities in Residence Hall Organizations
Earning a leadership position wasn’t immediately on Burton Richardson's mind upon arriving for his first semester at Purdue. That changed during his first week on campus, when Richardson received an email inviting all residents of Shreve Hall to apply for positions on the executive board of Shreve Club. Since answering that call, Richardson has found value in leadership positions in various residence hall organizations.
